Mac Dow has 25 years of law enforcement experience and is a former chief of the Maine State Police.  He subsequently served for fifteen years as Corporate Security Director for Irving Oil and worked extensively throughout New England and Atlantic Canada.  He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, is a member of ASIS International and has a Professional Certificate in international security from the International Center for Parliamentary Studies (iCPS) in London, England.  He previously served on the Boston Area Maritime Security Committee and is currently a public member of the Maine Guardian Ad Litem Review Board and the Grievance Committee of the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar.
